Building Community - One Event at a Time
MSC is Addison County’s year-round home for athletics and community events.
Our mission is to provide an affordable athletic, recreational and fundraising facility to Middlebury and surrounding areas. The Sports Center operates on a year-round basis, focusing on providing the community with a facility to host seasonal athletic programs for all ages that promote character, community building and fundraising activities.
The rink facility, located at 296 Buttolph Drive in Middlebury VT, includes 18,000 square feet of ice surface, four locker rooms, two public restrooms, and a concession area.

MSC is managed by Friends of Middlebury Hockey, a 501c3 non-profit comprised of local volunteers. MSC also relies on guidance and fund-raising support from the Memorial Sports Center Commission, also a 501c3 non-profit.
Public Skating & Stick and Puck
Memorial Sports Center offers Public Skating and Stick and Puck sessions each week. These sessions are posted to the MSC Master Schedule as well as the dedicated Public Skating & Stick and Puck calendar.
Helmets are recommended for public skating and are required for Stick and Puck sessions. MSC recommends bringing a few of your own pucks for Stick and Puck.
Skate rentals, skate sharpening, and a snack bar are available.
Memorial Sports Center offers rental rates for private or community events throughout the year.
To rent the rink for your special event please contact the Facility Manager.
